Overview:

A promoted release: The current release of each repository assigned to an environment—this is what users sync to their machines.

You can promote builds to differnt environments in two different places:

• The Releases tab — promotes a single release
  
  • Note: This does not include any custom launch buttons or a full set of releases across repositories which is what we call a snapshot
  • If you want to promote full snapshot of multiple releases including launch buttons go here.

Promote from the Releases Tab (Single Release)

1. Open the Solsta Desktop App
2. Click on your Product
3. Click the Environment, then the Repository that contains the release
4. In the Actions column, click Promote Release icon
5. From the Promote Release modal:
   
   • Keep the same target environment to promote the release within the source environment
   • Choose a different target environment to promote the release to a different target environment (such as dev to qa)
6. Click Ok
