Overview:

You can promote builds in two places:

• The History tab — promotes a snapshot (a full set of releases across repositories)
  
  • Note: this type of promotion will include launch buttons

Promote from the History Tab (Snapshot) Including Global Launch Buttons

1. Open the Solsta Desktop App
2. Click on your Product
3. Click the Environment you want to promote from
4. Click the History tab
5. Click the three dots (…) next to the snapshot
6. Select Promote Snapshot
7. From the Promote Snapshot modal: 
   
   • Keep the same target environment to promote the snapshot within the source environment
   • Choose a different target environment to promote the snapshot to a different target environment (such as dev to qa)
8. (Optional) Check the Overwrite Launch Button Configuration to include the launch button configuration from the snapshot
9. Click Ok
